I'd like to claim shimotsuki's prompt #2. (In fact, um, I spent all afternoon on a train with time to kill, so...I already wrote it.) I'm coming at it from quite a slant, though, so please don't let that stop anyone else from claiming it as well!

Also, I'll be back to officially sign up and post prompts just as soon as I can manage to whittle my ridiculous list of prompt ideas down to just three, argggh.
