So many relationships with some form of tension in them here: Dumbledore and Tonks, Lyall and Remus, Tonks and Remus... Even though Remus is physically absent, he's an important presence throughout. Some of my favourite parts of the bio were about Remus' parents, and the idea that Tonks knew Lyall is such an interesting one, as the thing they have in common: that Remus tries to protect them both by staying away - and yet it's the last thing either of them want. It's actually nice to imagine they had someone to share their frustration, anger and sorrow with.

Goodness, that story of what happened to Hope is dreadfully sad and chilling. It's definitely time for Remus to come home to both of them.
