Twelfth Night Tales are now over - Thank You Everyone!

The Twelfth Night Tales event 2015/2016 is now closed.

Thank you so much to everyone who's participated ♥ It's been a true joy to see old and new names join us and create a little more love for Remus and Tonks, and I hope you will all join us again for upcoming events!

Sadly, I haven't been able to be around much or participate this time. Nevertheless, I'm thrilled to see so much new, wonderful fic and art for R/T, and hopefully you've all had as much fun as we have!

The masterlist will be up shortly.

Thanks for organizing the fest! I need to catch up on reading, and I wish I could have completed my story (which is about half-way finished) but REAL LIFE has seriously been in the way lately. Thanks again and I'm looking forward to catching up on reading! :)

This has been a great round of Twelfth Night Tales, and I was so excited to see so many people posting! Some days my friends feed was full of Remus/Tonks, and that was amazing. I still need to catch up on reading the flurry of fics posted in the last couple days, but I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you as always to you three wonderful mods for running this delightful place!

Also, with 12 authors/artists, this is the most participants rt_morelove has ever had in an event! (Growing each year, from 8 to 10 to 12!)

...And because I am irredeemably a dork about this sort of thing, I went back and counted...

This year there were also more overall posts than ever before (26!) (Again, growing each year, from 22 to 23 to 26.)

And while we didn't quite have the highest total word count this year, it was VERY close to rt_morelove's impressive first year: The 2013–14 Stocking Filler Exchange came to a total of about 43,300 words + 2 pieces of artwork; this year for the 2015–16 Twelfth Night Tales there was a total of about 42,800 words + 1 piece of artwork.

Annnnnd now I'll return to doing useful things with my life. ;-)

Ha, this is brilliant. And interesting! It's something of a joke amongst us mods that when we started the first event, things were so quiet on LJ, at least when it came to R/T, that I thought we'd be lucky to get 5 participants (with or without us 3;)). Since then, I always joke, "As long as we get 5 people to play!"

To see the numbers on the increase with some new people joining in, and friends who keep coming back, is lovely. :D

I'm really an avid fan of R/T. I've never encountered a love story more complicated than complicated, bizzarre, and mind-boggling.

Such a pity that I discovered this event after the Christmas break tho.
