Title: Dancing in Many Versions
Rating & Warnings: G, none
Word Count/Art Medium: 100
Prompt(s): #27: Picture of dancing shoes, and #32: A 100-word drabble
Summary: Molly recognises at least a tiny bit of Tonks' struggles from her own youth.
Notes: I had high hopes (and an increasing number of R/T fics in my WIP folder :)) to post something longer, but then again it's a lot of fun to write drabbles as well.
Thank you everyone for joining in this little event!
«I'd almost forgotten these!»
Molly lifted a pair of dancing shoes, old and dusty. Beautiful.
Tonks leaned closer.
«Arthur and I used to go dancing when we were young. He couldn't afford to take me anywhere fancy, and he always worried he wasn't good enough. I tried to show him in my dancing that he was all I needed.»
«I'd only trip in those,» Tonks said.
Molly put her hand on Tonks' arm. «It doesn't have to be dancing. You'll find your way to show Remus he's the one for you.»
«I hope so.»
Molly blinked and hoped so too.
